9th Annual Central Florida Community Partners Nonprofit Conference – February 5, 2010 “Nonprofits Winning Together”

This full day conference will be held at the Florida Hospital Creation Conference Center and offer both academic and practitioner based presentations.  The keynote speaker will be nationally recognized speaker and author Carol Lucas, President of the Fieldstone Alliance.

8^th Annual Central Florida Community Partners Nonprofit Conference – February 2, 2009 “Thriving Not Just Surviving in Tight Economic Times”

This full day conference will provide both academic and practitioner based presentations. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Kala M. Stroup, President of American Humanics, which is a national alliance of colleges, universities, and nonprofits. The mission of American Humanics is to educate, prepare, and certify professionals to strengthen and lead nonprofit organizations.

7^th Annual Central Florida Community Partners Nonprofit Conference – February 1, 2008 “The Changing Face of Nonprofit Management”

This full day conference featured sessions focusing on both academic research topics and practitioner based presentations. The keynote speaker was Dr. Susan Eagan, Executive Director of the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations in Cleveland, Ohio, who spoke on the state of nonprofit management nationwide.

6^th Annual Community Partners Nonprofit Management Conference – January 19, 2007 “Extreme Makeover – Nonprofit Edition”

This full day conference featured concurrent sessions focusing on professional image, agency image and networking for success. Guest speakers included top professionals in the field who shared their expertise and experience with conference attendees.

5^th Annual Community Partners Nonprofit Management Conference – May 10 -11, 2006 “Collaboration … The Power of Partnership”

This two day conference featured community leaders in sessions focusing on collaboration. Keynote speakers were Mark Brewer of the Community Foundation and Dr. Art Cross speaking on collaboration.

4^th Annual Community Partners Nonprofit Management Conference – May 10-11, 2005 “Appreciative Inquiry”

This conference provided an intense half-day training session for Board Members followed by a full-day of training in Appreciative Inquiry for management and staff. Dr. Chet Bowling from Ohio State University facilitated the training.

3^rd Annual Community Partners Nonprofit Management Conference – May 4-5, 2004 “Volunteers to the Rescue, Prepare to be Rescued”

This conference was devoted to volunteer management utilizing university faculty and community leaders in volunteer management.

2^nd Annual Community Partners Nonprofit Management Conference – May 2003 “Nonprofit Accountability and Evaluation”

This conference provided attendees with several sessions on evaluation. Special attention was given to the logic model utilized by the Heart of Florida United Way.

1^st Annual Community Partners Nonprofit Management Conference – May 2002 “Securing Funding”

This conference utilized a panel of local funders to provide insight into ways that local nonprofit organizations could seek funding.
